FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1 AND SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2,
THE SCHOOL OF CHURCH FARM, EXTON, PA

Magazine’s Inaugural Signature Home Event in Collaboration with Home Builders Association
of Chester and Delaware Counties to Benefit The Suburban West REALTORS Association

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA (September 9, 2010) – Main Line Today magazine and the Home Builders Association of Chester and Delaware Counties unveil their premiere Home & Garden Fall Event, Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2, 2010. This first-ever Home Event added to the magazine’s repertoire of must-attend Signature Events will take place at The School of Church Farm in Exton, PA. Tickets are $4 and available for purchase online at

The Main Line Today Home & Garden Fall Event kicks-off with a VIP reception on the evening of Friday, October 1 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This inaugural soiree will showcase treasured art, fine food, acoustic guitar, and a shared passion for home fashion. Attendees of this event will receive a sneak peak at the renowned Chester County artists and area’s top home builders, designers, and specialty vendors on display the following day, Saturday, October 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

"The Home & Garden Fall Event was conceived after reader demand and local advertisers agreed that we add this themed event and complimentary editorial to our coveted lineup of annual Signature Events,” said Jim Bauer, Associate Publisher, Main Line Today. “I am honored to celebrate this charitable fall gathering with the hundreds of residential and commercial readers and leaders who have helped to make the Main Line remarkable."

This two-day event celebrating the Main Line’s elite home and garden experts and purveyors will feature more than 60 exhibitors providing expert tips, unique home design samples and ideas, and an ongoing lineup of guest speakers. Participating experts and their topics for discussion follow:

Lynn Templeton of Greenable on “Debunking the myths about green building products and why buy green.”
Steve Buerkle of Signature Solar on “How to save on utility costs through solar installation.”
Wayne Megill, Jr. of Megill Homes on “The economic benefits of buying new construction.”
Dale Smith of Sterling Kitchens on “Kitchen and bath design trends.”

To coincide with this special event, Main Line Today will feature a special Home & Garden section of its October 2010 issue. This exclusive supplement will serve as a must-have resource for families and businesses looking to build and landscape the natural environment of the renowned Main Line and its surroundings.
